With an estimated 3,000 museums and galleries plus many important private collections, the U.K's unique artistic and cultural heritage demands protection. Antiquities, works of art and historic buildings all deserve dedicated care and attention. And that's where Rentokil's museum pest control comes in.

Rentokil has been helping protect the nation's cultural heritage ever since 1927, when we were founded. We deal with the insects and rodents that can literally eat away artworks and artefacts. We also recognise that certain forms of control can cause harm themselves and only use appropriate methods for each environment.

We've helped protect museums, stately British Homes, private collections and more besides. We've been able to preserve historic clothing, furniture, artworks, books, documents and even the odd stuffed animal or two. Valuable items too fragile to move prompted us to develop our portable Controlled Atmosphere Technology system for museum pest control, and we are constantly working on better ways to protect and preserve.
